Description

In order to qualify for JAG, JJDP, VAWA, and/or VOCA grant consideration, applicants must abide by regional requirements. The Alamo Area (Region 1800) requires applicants to:

1. Attend a Grant Workshop

2. Complete and submit a Grant Summary Form

3. Only submit one application per agency or department per grant program

4. Attend and present at the CJAC Scoring and Prioritization meeting (early-mid April, information provided upon OOG regional distribution in late March)

For a full list of regional guidelines, please view the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (CJAC) Guidelines.

The Grant Summary Form is a mandatory form to be used by the Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (CJAC) to complete the scoring and prioritization grant process. Any grant application without a summary form may be given an unfavorable review by CJAC.

To complete a Grant Summary Form, click on the green Apply button to start your Summary Form. All JAG, JJDP, VAWA, and VOCA grant applicants must complete a Grant Summary Form to fulfil AACOG Regional Requirements. If you have submitted and certified more than one grant in eGrants, please complete a separate Grant Summary Form for each grant application.

Upon completion of the Grant Summary Form, you will see another task on the left-hand side of the dashboard that must be completed before you can submit your application. At that point, you will be given instructions on how to download your application summary from eGrants to be uploaded to this site.

You may save and return to your Grant Summary Form to complete and edit prior to the submission date. You may also invite coworkers to assist in completing the form.
